Journalism is one of the driving forces that helped build this great country of ours. Cat Scouts who master the art of writing well will be looked up to by all the other scouts. And, you can contribute to your troop by being the troop scribe, or by writing the troop newsletter.
To earn your Journalism Merit Badge you must have published a book (“Poopology,” for example), contribute to a blog, or write for a publication like Cat Fancy or Cat Scouts Today. Post a link to your book, blog or publication in the Journalism Merit Badge group. You’ll earn 10 Karma points for this badge.
